Bug on a Leaf

The first painting I started that spread over two nights, I focused on the blade of grass for hours.  After I swore I’d never paint with green again, the following night I started on the ladybug.  I love this painting, and it’s found a beautiful home in numerous playrooms and childhood bedrooms.
