Hiding From The Wind

The #cantfly series of watercolour paintings was inspired after a long admission in hospital, and the challenges faced after discharge. Each depicts a challenge to re-engage with society, and the fears with that – although you have wings – you will forever be tethered to the ground.

“Hiding from the wind” displays a desire to curl up, to make yourself small while life goes on around you.
