Flowers in the storm

Part of the “Yellow Umbrella” series, this painting is absolutely one of my favourites – it speaks to me, showing the rain of flowers under the protection of the yellow umbrella.  There is a pure joy to this painting, showing something so simple can also become something quite emotive.
